Looking for a hadith

Salam,

I am trying to find a hadith about graves, I was listening to a talk by murtaza khan who mentioned that prophet muhammad saw said to ali that if he finds any graves bigger then a handspan to demolish it?

Please can anyone be of assistance

Both hadiths describe that the graves shouldn’t be higher or lower but it should be in level. I unable to find a reference for second hadith and couldn’t find any related to Hazrat Ali r.a.

Book ‘Funerals (Kitab Al-Janaiz)’ of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Hadith No. 3214.
Narrated Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn AbuBakr: I said to Aisha r.a. ! Mother, show me the grave of the Apostle of Allah :saw2: and his two Companions r.a. She showed me three graves which were neither high nor low, but were spread with soft red pebbles in an open space.

(1) Abu’l-Hayyaj al-Asadi told that 'Ali (b. Abu Talib) said to him: Should I not send you on the same mission as Allah’s Messenger :saw2: sent me? Do not leave an image without obliterating it, or a high grave without levelling It. This hadith has been reported by Habib with the same chain of transmitters and he said: (Do not leave) a picture without obliterating it.

Thanks! i have been looking for this for a while. The reason why I ask is because in pakistan darbars the graves are HUGE! and i did wonder if that was right or not

As hadith says the grave should be in level not like in shape of tomb.
