Looking at the bigger picture

and keeping a balance in the canvas, so one partricular shade does not ruin the whole setup. who exactly is responsible for that? and is there any boundry of that “Bigger picture”? and if there is any, then why do MODS fail to dictate it to the members.

Re: Looking at the bigger picture

I exactly know the connotation behind such a carefully selected initial topic that you have chosen. Keeping the mods separate from this issue for the sake of raising my point of view, I strongly believe that even the regular parties (and non-regular for that matter, if applicable) should demonstrate strong and profound juncture to interpret the post in an appropriate and positive manner, without resorting to low-life comebacks and sheepishly avoiding the issue, as a whole. As a mod, abolutely yes, if a writer doesn't hold the cup of water to differentiate, the responsibility falls upon the shoulders of the mods, who should take full use of this opportunity and make it well-known that all objective instances which are adjacent to the equation summed up nicely in the very first post should be put forward, hence engaging fruitful and productive discussions to the general pubic.

Re: Looking at the bigger picture

Depends on the retina, if you wear glasses it could be bigger, the use of a microscope will magnify it more…but the fact will remain the same and that is a real picture…
now who will decide which picture to make bigger? A powerless member or a controlling mod who is always right?

Re: Looking at the bigger picture

Mod, Admins and some others are there to create a balance. Though nothing is perfect but is there any particular instance you are referring to?

Re: Looking at the bigger picture

The whole team (both admins and mods) are there to ensure that a platform is provided to members to air their views freely, within the rules and regulations of GS. The performance of Moderator's are reviewed by the Admins. If anyone has any concern regarding any member of the team or any policies they can contact either myself or any other admin.
