The fuss is not about the affair itself. There were two issues: did he break the law by having an affair with a subordinate? did he break the law by lying about the affair under oath? Both are impeachable offenses.

I dont like HC either, i mean not for President. Should be a better candidate. And also i think America may not be ready for a female president yet, but well 8 years back it wasnt ready for a African American President either.
Maybe u r correct abt the woman president issue. But my opposition to her candidacy is based on her being on the right of conservatives when it comes to war. Voted for Iraq war. Trying to criticize Obama for not being tough enough.
The dems are moving to that nonsensical term "Center". They need to grow a pair and not run away from liberal policies. In fact they have let the rethugs make the term liberal toxic. So much so the dems ran away from that term.

I think you would if Ted Cruz is running against Clinton. Except for Rand Paul and maybe Paul Ryan, none in the republican pool is worth considering. There is another rising star in the democratic party from New Jersey. Corey Booker. We will start hearing more about him after this mid-term.
Actually I wouldn't. Reason is I don't want the Democratic party to take liberals for granted. I would like the party to move towards it's base. This type of holding ones nose and voting for the lesser evil will maintain the status quo. I would rather people learn for themselves how the ones on the right are ruining this country. For that we have to take a step back. So we can move two steps forward.
Lost respect for Corey Booker when he spoke up in favor of Wall street during the Romney Obama election. Speaking up in favor of private equity. Which Obama was criticizing since Romney was a private equity guy.
Obama himself has been a disappointment. With the drone attacks. And his being in wall streets pocket. Appointing Larry summers and Timothy Geitner.

We are hijacking this thread, but one last post from me on this topic.
By that measure, we never had a truly liberal democratic president. You can take any president and I will find you at least one of their stands that is to the right of center. That is the reason why we shouldn't consider Obama a total failure. DOMA, ObamaCare are both items on liberal agenda. He couldn't get other things done, coz as soon as his policy shifted to the left, the centerists in this country moved to the right. As much as you dislike the centrists, you must accept, they are the king makers.
Same thing about Booker. His stance on one issue does not make him worse than any republican. It will be decades before Goldman Sachs can be removed from the government. No matter which party is in power, they will win.
Also, I wouldn't consider Larry Summers and Tim Geithner as wall street guys. Summers background is acedemia and Geithner is government.
