Longer Lashes, L'oreal's way?

So I caught a commercial about L’oreal’s new Lash boosting serum. Apply it twice a day and it promises thicker, fuller, longer and stronger lashes. I was hesitant until I read reviews and i’m going to give it a try.

the girls at makeupalley gave it great reviews so here’s a picture of what the bottle looks like:

I figured for the price why not. I read other reviews that state it only reinforces the lashes you do have and makes them stronger and thicker…that makes sense and with so many ladies noticing a positive change then why not. It doesn’t have the crazy side effects or dangers that prescriptions do so we shall see. I figured in a few weeks i’ll post back and let yall know what i think of it. I do have sensitive skin and so did a reviewer at makeup alley and she found it to be safe, so i’m more inclined to buying it. If anything i figured there may be other ladies that would like to try this out and post back as well.

any takers?

I saw the commercial for it for the first time yesterday and was wondering the same thing. I am familiar with Lumigan…haven’t tried it…but it requires a prescription and is not free of side effects.

A long time ago, people would apply vaseline to grow their lashes. Some say that olive oil and castor oil help. I’ve read that this is because the oil keeps the eyelashes soft and lubricated, so they are less prone to breaking. It would be interesting to see the reviews of this product.

Re: Longer Lashes, L'oreal's way?

i saw it at walmart last month or so but i highly doubt this product. it doesn't grow hair just strengthen the existing ones. unless someone's lashes falling whole time its not needed. lumigaan not only enlarges n grows lashes it makkes outerlines of eyes as if wearing eye liner.

RV if u r interested in lumigaan i can help u with an alternate to it that needs no prescription n not really expensive. plus it works same as lumiigaan

Re: Longer Lashes, L'oreal's way?

mabrook what is that alternative ... I am interested

^ditto

You can get Lumigan without prescription from inhousepharmacy.co.uk, very reasonably priced.. there was another site, I think it was a US one, that also sells it without prescription.. That one I've mentioned sometimes runs out of stock of the Lumigan tho (not surprising given the price) so wouldn't wait around too long..

I've also got a spare bottle, have tried a little of it but there is plenty left, if anyone in the UK wants it for free just pm me :)
