Long standing differences among couples

This is inspired by the “fights increase as years pass” thread.

The question is for people who have been coupled up for years.

Do you find that at least some of the issues that you have fights/disagreements upon have been there since the beginning and never got resolved?

Have you noticed any such long standing differences? If so, how do you deal with them especially if they affect you BOTH - and neither one can do things any differently (and be happy at the same time)?

Interesting question.

There are a number of issues which remain unresolved. They raise their head from time to time and subside without any resolution.
