Long or Knee-length Shirts for Lehngas?

Hi all,
What length of shirts on bridal lehngas are in trend in Pakistan now a days? I ordered my lehnga from a girl where I live and she messed the colors infact the whole lehnga:cryb:. I’m gettimg married next month. Literally, only have 4 weeks. So, now I’ve to re-order my barat lehnga. So, all lovely ladies, me waiting for the responses.

if you have long legs longer kameez if you have short legs shorter kameez :)

I'm 5-6, so how long you think it should be. I dont want long long neither very short. So, above knee?

try right at the knee and longer in the back?

i think long kameez goes well with shorter girls also cuz they look a bit long in em
hv seen sum of them ....
well u cn go for a long one meethi shona as it is much in fashion these days
and by the way what happend to ur actual lenhga ? who did u get it made from ?

I think I'll go uptil knee length or less that my bum will be covered. (Meant to say length wise)

I live in SLC, a small USA city. There's this girl from India, we've been ordering traditional dresses/sarees from her. She always make changes but those changes were always compromiseable. Little here and there of her own design/creativity, not a big deal. So, I think she got used to make little changes on her own. So, she totally changed my lehnga. I told her I want bright red with turquoise patch and work all over it, ghatta(heavy) kaam. I dont know how to explain well, but I showed her pictures and I was very detailed with her. As usual I trusted her a lot. Coz, in the past, overall experience with her was very good. So, me and my sister both ordered our lehngas from her. My sister's turned about 90%, so 10% was more than acceptable. She just gave little bit of Indian touch and my sister is OK with hers. But mine, OMG, it was a big patch of sea green at the bottom of the lehnga and then all around dupatta. I asked her I want my top all embroidered. It was ajeeb-o-ghareeb type of overall work. And then she keep adding $$ for pouch and bajoo band(armlet). And keep saying that "tumharay lehnga mein mujhay itna nuqsaan hua hai. jitnay time mein tumhara aik lehnga bana hai, utnay mein 3 ban jatay hain.. I paid her $1500.00 just for the lehnga, no bridal chooriyan, purse/pouch and armlet with it. She was charging 150. for chooriyan, and 150 for pouch and armlet. Still, I was willing to pay her for everything. But she became so rude after 5+ years of business with her. She said I'm complaining, well no, I'm not complaining. I did not get what I ordered and paid. Work was way less than expected.

BTW, I ordered my lehnga late November.

Two years ago, I was supposed to get married but due to some miscommunication between my family and his, it was called off. The karigar in Pakistan made my lehnga in 2 weeks and I just e-mailed him the picture and talked to him over the phone for less than 5 months and it turned out beautiful. It was the copy. And copy was more pretty than the original. and this lady I've been explaining her face to face and she messed up. I wish I had done the same. But my mom said let's do from her as it would be convenient, unfortunately not. Hope the same karigar will make my lehnga in 4 weeks. Wish me luck girls.

At what length do you wear your regular kameez's these days? I think that's the length you should keep for your lengha. I'm guessing just below the knee? The wonderful thing about the trend for long shirts is that you can stitch trousers with it and wear it again later! So try to make something in a length you'll feel comfortable wearing again maybe for Eid or a family wedding.
