I dont watch many tv shows and dramas at local channels but my mom does. And I cannot help but notice the increasing trend of long drama names.. case in point:
kaash mayn teri beti na hoti
ek nazar meri taraf
kitni girhayn baaki hayn
list goes on and on
what is up with that?
no wonder that popular shows are the ones with short names

There are two types of dramas....
first......the better ones......by bigger production houses....they usually end within a Quarter
second...the ****ty ones.....i don't know who makes them....they last for like 6 months.......

some of the names they derive from the novels that are published in the monthly women's digests so that all the people who read those digests know "acha! this is the story I read.."
But yeah I agree, too long and tedious titles. Wish there were more names like Maat, Daam, Malal, Humsafar, Dastaan etc.
With so many productions, they are probably running out of short and succinct names ;)

I agree......the drama name sucks......and the actual drama sucks even more.
