How girls cope with that. I think most working girls and students keep their nails long. But isnt it difficult to keep them cleen.. while eating or cooking. Specially if one has to cook food then long nails are really nuisance.

So most girls keep medium/long nails . You keep them same length all year long or grow them long for certain occations ?
They are not difficult to keep clean if you treat them as an extension of your hands. I keep them medium length but sometimes they grow long and I dont realize it until a nail breaks, that I need to cut them again. I have to say its easier to type with short or medium length nails. Long nails do sometimes create difficulty with certain tasks. Medium length nails come in handy, almost like tools, to peel stickers, saran wrap, etc. smile
Some people have short nails and keep them dirty, I think hygiene is a separate issue to nail length, but thats just me. You may disagree.

Yep, I remember this one guy told me that even medium length nails is disgusting. Even if kept neat and clean. Everyone has their own opinion. smile

I dont find it digusting or somthing rather they look good in functions or other ocations. But isnt it hard to keep them long all the time

I dont keep long nails so cant say. But I would imagine that there are some difficulties, but once cleaning them and taking care of them becomes a routine, I think it gets a lot easier. Surely there are things you must avoid doing with long nails, so not everyone can keep long nails. Ive seen that most girls that have long nails usually take very good care of their hands and dont mind doing so.
Long nails are a bit of a pain. It's much harder to type with long nails as Munni said. Plus, they just get in the way of little things.
I prefer shorter/medium length nails. Much easier for me to handle.
