There is no need to have that section, its only used to discriminate... It is a travel document nothing more, has nothing to do with religion. This just some stupid attempt to remind everyone that WE ARE MUSLIMS like that needs any advertising...
If I am Muslim, I dont need some passport to say so anyways.. I just shows how insecure Pakistanis are.

Buddy, EVERYTHING in Pakistan SCREAMS Muslim… But printing Muslim on your passport is stupid.. Makes no sense, has nothing to do with its intended purpose.
Its only for the sake of giving a hard time to minorites, and appeasing the mullahs.
Next they will ask us to print Muslim on our clothes aswell…

With anti “mullah” comments from everywhere, and seeing how “moderate” Pakistanis are becoming, everything in Pakistan no longer screams muslim. And I think all the “moderate muslims” need a reminder every now and then. And there is nothing wrong with having the religion column in the passport. We should be proud of our religion, no matter which one it is. And if you are not proud of it and are shy to show it, you should stop following it too.
