I heard a similar/extended version...

Umar Daraaz Bhatti and sardar are at a UK embassy applying for student visas. The embassy assistant couldn't pronounce his name properly so asked for it in English , which was "long life oven".
The sardar standing behind Umar daraaz Bhatti thought that if they can't say his name in urdu then they won't be able to say his name either. When it was his turn, the assistant asked his name.. he replied " Beautiful Red underwear", Umar asked what his real name was, he said "Sunder Laal Chadda"
