Long Lasting Lipglosses!

Girls, I’m in desperate need of your help!

I wear lipgloss for parties and such, but my problem is that they never last! I hate having to reapply, or I just forget to. I also have a bad habit of smacking( can’t think of another word) my lips, and then the gloss fades away before the end of the night.

There are a bunch of parties and weddings coming up and I want to buy a couple of new glosses, long lasting ones! Please advise what has worked for you, brands, colors, department, drugstore, anything! Thanks!

Re: Long Lasting Lipglosses!

Shabbo's advice: Drink a lot of water and anaar juice. You wont need a lip gloss.

i'm the same way as you, i constnatly press my lips together, even bite them, for no particular reason

i hate teh way the "long-lasting" ones feel, plus they can be very drying.

Only solution (well for me anyway :p) is reapplication.

Re: Long Lasting Lipglosses!

i dont know which ones are long lasting, but if thats ur primary concern then dont get Stila lipglosses and MAC's lipglass.

Re: Long Lasting Lipglosses!

I don't think there is a solution if you keep "smacking" your lips. The color might stay but the shine won't last very long.

Re: Long Lasting Lipglosses!

Re: Long Lasting Lipglosses!

Re: Long Lasting Lipglosses!

starry night, try Lancome's color fever glosses..they're pretty long lasting for me

Re: Long Lasting Lipglosses!

i think the lancome and clinique lip glosses last all night.. well for me at least. and for some reason i forget to bite/lick (i have a really bad habit of doing that) my lips when i'm wearing it lol

Re: Long Lasting Lipglosses!

Thanks everyone for your input! I've also read good ratings on NARS and Clinique Long Lasting Glosswear and am going to look at these. Anyone tried these two? I'll check out Lancome as well. I like Loreal products but if I buy at a drugstore, can't return it later if it doesn't look good on me. Or are there drugstores where you can return makeup? Sephora has a great return policy and can buy the other there.
