thnking that it would be a nice basic clothing item to own. Well…turns out…I’m having a hell of a time finding something that looks good with it. suggestions?
I tried a collard shirt look and I looked like a headmistress
Any colors/cuts/patterns I should avoid/look into?
Lol sorry. it just looks so…Mormonish!!!There are so many ways to be stylish and modest,
I googled a few images, not sure if you’d be open to wearing short sleeves…otherwise, if u wear something long sleeve and loose, you’ll look frumpy. If that’s not your concern, then that’s fine, but if it wasn’t, im sure u wouldn’t have posted a thread about it…
I’m sorry this may not be what you want to hear, but if you tried everything and its not working… just toss it? Sometimes we buy things we think are practical and if they don’t work, they just don’t work. No point trying to force it.
The cut, color everything is so frumpy, mumsy Amish-lady looking..
Don’t really think you can do much to spruce this thign up.
haha perhaps I could've found a better picture. It's more tightfitting and less amish. Not frumpy at all. My concern is that if I wear white with it I look washed out and a collard shirt (not formal) seems too matronly for me. I wear short sleeves but I feel like a sleeveless thing would look cute. Of coures I can't do that, hence, the question.

are you open to wearing longer sleeve plain tunics underneath a sleeveless top? lots of hijabi and Jewish women wear black/white tops underneath sleeveless tops...I guess I see it so often that I think it looks nice.
