I got a really nice desi outfit in this color and style (didn’t get it frm sairaji…just using the picture to show the color and style)…but my outfit has long sleeves.

Anyway how shld i do my hair??? I have gained a lot of weight so i want to avoid hair dos that wuld make my face look even larger. Please help.

Here is a pic of me …so u girls knw my face shape n all (please dont quote). Thanks

Re: Long Hair updos…or not???

Aww first off you are beautiful

**And congrats! so for the party i would say leave your hair down, and keep it simple like the pic below, since your dress is very heavy! **

Re: Long Hair updos...or not???

you really are mashaAllah! i agree with gaia, leave your hair down...first of all, because you have gorgeous hair mashaAllah and you should show it off, and secondly, because there aren't too many functions in a wedding where it's even considered appropriate to leave your hair down and uncovered so you should take advantage of the opportunity :)

congrats on the court marriage :).

i think you would look lovely if you did a poof in the front and did loose curls/waves and left your hair down. you could even wear a tikka without looking over the top!

best of luck :). let us know how it turns out and post pics if you can!

Re: Long Hair updos...or not???

You look gr8, glowing in fact!! I have a round face, so i've been told to avoid hair styles that will bulk my head... how bout a side part, with sleek straight hair.

Re: Long Hair updos...or not???

Congrats and mashallah you are stunning! I love the paris hilton hair do, I think it would really suit you.

Re: Long Hair updos…or not???

^ I agree that you look stunning already and should either leave it down or half up with poof would also be cute. I would also chat with your hairdresser about putting in a few long layers on the sides of your face down to draw attention to your eyes and cheekbone like this:

Re: Long Hair updos...or not???

Thank you guys for all the help and compliments... I really like all three suggestions but dont u think having my hair poofed up will make my face look larger ???

i agree, i think this style is best and will suit the outfit too, altho you could do what the other are suggesting as well(curls but just keep them at the end so the hair at the top is straight

you have always had such shiny hair and given that we know what your fiance's preference is maybe you should just keep it out and do a middle part because not many people look nice in that and wear a small tikka bc your outfit doesn't have any stone work. or i would do a side part and get sara to put some flowers in your hair, i know she knows how to do that. or i still think that one time we put your hair up and left a few pieces down looked nice i can't recall if the outfit had a mandarian collar or not, but if it does why not do that? i mean do you remember when my dad saw that pic he was like whoa because the pieces that were down framed your face well.

Re: Long Hair updos...or not???

^ i was waiting for u...
no tikka or flowers...thats too much. But i did like my hair when u worked on it...i always have my hair down n stright wanted to do something different and Ali likes my hair curly too ... i really like the Paris Hilton style what do u think of that?

any other styles? pictures?

maybe we can get together on sat. if you have some time we can play with different looks for hair with the set you plan on wearing and if you don't mind maybe we can experiment with dark and light eye makeup and lip colors.
