Has anyone had a case where their monthly cycle has been longer than it usually is…what can be the reason for this?
How long can it be, before one should get worried…

I just experienced this and when I mentioned it to Gynae at hospital he sais it's perfectly normal to experience a long cycle when the cycle has been annovulatory.
By the point I mentioned it to the Gynae, I had 1 week spotting/light flow and then 8 days of normal flow.
I wouldn't have taken the reassurance from anyone other than Gynae (this was a scheduled appt, not one made due to the long cycle) so for your own peace of mind I would consult your GP?

I havent ever had a long cycle...usually 7 days or less and thats it....but this time...its the 9th day and light...but i just never have experienced this and theres no change of circumstances either...thats why it freaked me out!
