She’s nothing exceptional, but if I wanted a good quality general bike, I wouldn’t look beyond her. She’s a 2003 Specialized Hardrock. Ultra-light weight, she can take free-riding, mountain biking, trails and cross-country. She’s also gonna take me to New York City next summer. The only thing better than her that I would buy is the Hardrock Specialized Pro Disc after my skills are a bit more polished.
Since this thread has ended up in Bazaar. Tell us about your bikes.
I've been thinking of getting Luna here reprinted. She'll have L's instead of S's and will say "RT Wolf" and "Luna" on the bottom and top beam repectively. Just thinking though, I might spend that dough on a better bike.
The hardrock is a great bike. Excellent choice. I'm planning to look into a new bike next year also, and specialized is definitely on my potential list.
^ I paid 530 CND for mine. But mine's an entry level bike. Friend of mine has a 1500 CND bike, even that's only about average if you're serious. When my skills are better, I'll prolly get a 1000 CND bike approx. Most likley a Kona.
