Following it on BBC, Guardian & Twitter, since this afternoon. Disturbance in East Ham is not largely reported. There is still a stand-off in Birmingham and Hackney. There were some rumours about Romford but nothing reported yet.

The poor guy is in "sarr mundwatai he oolay parai" situation. The commissioner Met police resigned 3 weeks back, because of News Corporation scandal. Police is already under scrutiny/criticism over "payments" allegations and their handling of shooting issue in Tottenham last Thursday.

Basically I work in a supermarket and doing a late shift, just got a call from home that its not safe to come ilford at the moment, apparently eastham primark got burnt, I am scared :/
