I have started to doubt the government...they can control this havoc but for some reason they have chosen not to.

from the reports I am hearing the three guys killed are young and they were tyring to stop people coming into their street. This black guy rushed towards them in his car and crushed them. I hope he gets a life sentence.

David Cameron wanted to cut immigrants number coming to UK from 400,000 per year to around 20000 per year. These immigrants are mainly from carribean and asia.

easy there! :d one can also argue that labour's multiculturalism just got vindicated on the basis that immigrant communities came out to stop looting in Dalston, Eastham, Southall and Birmngham - hence trying actively to keep society safe. Saby, you are making the same mistake some fraction of media and BBC are making - associating the rioting with Black immigrants that is. BBC from past 4 days is inviting youth workers and community members from Black community and asking them for their opinion (and you can see rioters from every ethnic backgrounds in slides/coverage running in background/small window.) Yes - in Tottenham and Hackney most of the rioters were Afro-caribbeans, but now "they all in this together".:d

He killed 3 Pakistani guys trying to protect the community. Nothing about it on the bbc news yet, not sure whether they are having a news blackout to prevent more riots but they have not mentioned the devastation caused in Manchester either.

This was my fear that this could turn this way. These black people are far more racists against Asians. Sikhs are now protecting their properties in Enfield and Southhall.

I saw it on BBC News 24 this morning so there is defo no blackout concerning that.. Hope that situation between the blacks and desis doesn't flare up up in Brum like it did a few years back..

Are you not an immigrant yourself? Why should other immigrants be denied the same opportunity that you were?
If you were in London now you would see that an equal number of white people are involved in the rioting and looting as well.

I have just heard from relatives who live on the same street as one of the young men who died yesterday; that a lot of Pakistanis had planned to gather on that road to protect the Masjid (not sure if the masjid was off of Dudley road or on it?) The plan was to block in the youths were they would have fought to protect their community. Once the youths and Pakistanis met face to face the Pakistanis were successful in holding ground by throwing stones at two of the cars, when all of a sudden a third car came full blast and ran over 3 Pakistanis. Just saw the interview with one of the men's father on SKY news and it was truly heartbreaking. My cousins said that he was a good boy from a good family. May Allah give Sabaar to their familes

First, I should have worded it properly but I blame roza for that. There is no doubt that 'they all are in this together'. But it was perpetrated and matured early by them.
Having said that, there are so many psychological and moral reasons thrown in defence of looting by looter themselves (watch FB groups where they actually are showing off their looted stuff) that I feel their moral fibre is badly compromised during this adventure.
