Re: London Mayor blames Middle East policy.
Kaleem, I was totally against the invasion of Iraq, the election of this president and the re-election of this president. Back in 2000 I was very scared where the international policies of a potential Baby Bush president would take us. My worst fears have been realized. But when in the history of the world has a lesser power (as there have always been wars and there has always been powerful, influential nations exerting their influence) started blowing up innocent civilians to strike terror within a population to get governments to change policy? Is that sunnah? Well if it is, it's not warfare - it's terrorism and that will NEVER be an accpetable method of influencing foreign policy. If this type of activity is legitmized, there would be suicide bombers going off in every town, in every western nation, everyday, by someone who had a beef with their foreign policy, past or present.
