What is london like on Boxing day? I’m planning to go down to london with family…just for a day tour, covering places like westminister, oxford street, picadilly square etc Will tubes run as normal and is it likely to be over crowded with the after xmas sales?

What about new years eve?

dats d worst place to be on new year's eve - have been there few times and trust me its soo packed...u'd b better of sitting at home..

I don't wanna drive down....but I have no choice as train's cost about £70!

I’ve only visited Birmingham once in my entire life…and that was in 2002 when I went down to Aston University for a job (placement) interview. We checked out Soho road and Alam Rock too

You have to come and check out the Bull Ring-it’s well cool.
Especially at this time of the year…the atmosphere’s great,…and the Frankfurt market stalls in B’ham city centre :love:

I'm from Yorkshire too...but, yeah as MW said central london will be busy as hell, but that makes it all worthwhile.

We went to Wilmslow Road for Dinner at Sanam’s last Eid - It was quiet as most people were celebrating Eid a day later. I quite liked the atmosphere there.

yupp its been ages since i went there i think a few years! cant remember it now, but my friend said they opened a halal pakistani restaurant, and underneath the floor you can see fish swimming around etc Masha'ALLAH!
