London bombing is a blessing from allah for pakistan.
- The brits and US will throw more bones to “strengthen” the musharaff position in exchange for his “promise” to help fight terrorism. This way, pakistan will get More$ to clean its OWN MESS, created by thenselves!! Talk about having cake and eating it too.
- The pakistan foreign exchange will start flowing againg because:
a) “hawala” traders will be out of business, at least for a while, resulting in more money to pakistan through “official” channel.
b) there is going to be to a rise in real or perceived descrimination against pakis in europe and USA. This will result in tendencies of the expatriates to send more$ to pakistan, in case they have to pack their bag and move back to pakistan in future. - The money thus flowing will cause rise in price of “desirable” real estates in places like lahore,islambad and karachi.
- Some of the $ may get diverted to karachi stock market, this may result in a mini boom in KSE (As usual,without any noticable change in macro/micro economic indicators).
- Rise in foreign exchange coffer will give bragging rights to the PM and the supremo (although none of it is their doing, as usual).
- rise in KSE along with foreign exchange will prompt the goverment to tell the ordinary pakis to rejoice as economy doing wonderful as it is apparant by rise in KSE,real estate price and foreign exchange.
- ofcourse, rich will get richer and poor more poorer, eventually making a fertile ground for more madrassa recruitment…and…cycle of life continues..
Looks like the Pakistani goverment could not have planned it better!!
