A good win but sterner tests lie ahead.
The first half against Argentina was dull. The second half was more absorbing
Australia are looking ominous. They thrashed Spain 5-0 which puts our draw against Spain in perspective

Even though we have had one draw and one win somehow these were not convincing and I think the test will come against Australia and “Mera England Mahan”, both of these teams could thrash us. Lets hope we overcome them and make it to the semis.

Let's be honest, even drawing against this Australian side will take some doing. GB will be boosted by the vociferous home crowd support but they are not unbeatable imo.
Argentina have greatly improved in hockey in recent times and so have New Zealand. Argentina, Spain (I remember back then we used to beat Spain 5-0, 6-1 etc.) and New Zealand were not that strong in the 80s but Spain is now one of the leading nations in hockey.
GB has never been more than a decent hockey team but on their day they can beat anyone

i haven't followed much Hockey lately but i hope and wish they make it to the semis .... a nation in dire need of a something positive on International Scale
beside that all my prayers are for Germany's success :D
