Hey, do you all think that Pakistan’s Film Industry known as “Lollywood” can become one of the most famous Film Industries in this world and can effectively compete with the Bollywood and Hollywood Film Industry?
Can the Pakistani Films become global in terms of its viewers?, etc…

I think within the last year or two I have watched around 3 pakistani films, one of which was chooriyan, which was excellent.
However this is THE exception.
They do have talent, yes, but there is no style to the films at all, all they do is copy what bollywood do,actually that works vice versa.
All the women do is wear the minutest of clothes, and really they just live up to the perverted male fantasy, which sadly seems to be the masses in pakistan and also India.:)

look at the resourcez and help our industry getz from the government and private sector..and look at bollywood and hollywood..u ppl are in the front row to criticize but are not willing to accept that our industry can make good moviez 2..
i've seen paki ppl..calling our artistz..MARASSI"..while they call indianz and otherz.."ACTORZ"..y so double minded?..
u ppl are useless..sitting here just Bit***** abt thingz..when ur not even willing to support ur own industry...
indian moviez are good bcoz therez nugapun..fazooliyat and other carp..same goes 4 hollywood movie..thatz pretty much to attract u ppl..
just recently sum1 here said that mission kashmir is a good movie..full of entertainment and cool songz..though she also said itz abt osama bin ladin..so..who carez abt ladin?..rite?..ala movie is good..osama is not in the picture..uf the movie was a failure and boring..then i think she wuld have said that..ahh..another crappy movie by indianz against muslimz..
i believe and know our industry can and is making good moviez..who carez if u think they can't make good moviez..

If you read my post above ( not just take out one word and give a whole lecture about it) I more or less said the hindi and pakistani industries are both a load of crap, as all they do is promote western ideals by hardly wearing anything.
Allt he women so is stick their bum and chest out anywhere they can, they are absolutely vulgar, no style, no grace, no taste :)
In Pakistan movie-making isn't taken seriously. It isn't a lack of talent as such, just that film-making suffers from the kanjar-mentality - if you'll pardon the expression. While TV programmes are no great shakes either in Pakistan, they're a step up in class from films.
I think we need some of the more talented directors and producers to work on films as well as TV. After all, if Pak public is going to spend money watching films, they might as well be watching ours.
they are making tons of movies, and all of them suck..so instead of making so many they should just concentrate on few and try to do a good job on them..i always believe in quality over quantity

Pakistani movies r jst not good... n indian movies r the same.. But Pakistani Dramas r the best !!!!! better than ne indian/paki movie.. !!! Think they should spend more money n stuff on makin dramas rather than makin thoes weird movies..cant say much bout pakistani movies coz havent watched ne in like past 6-7yrs

Not me. I can always go to a magazine shop then and go buy a porno magazine if I want that. Although good acting, and a GOOD story and plot matters more than apperance in that cathegory. From the point those Pakistani Films are heading, what’s the difference from a Indian movie?
The other day, I heard that there was a few amazing Indian movies that would be number one for this year. Thinking that it would be good story, which it was.. enjoyed it, but when it got to all those wrong scenes I was disapointed.
Pakistani Drama are the right way. We should spend more money on our cameras, technology, travelling. A good step was Ansoo, which used throughout a Digital Camera, and filmed in Scotland, Ireland and Pakistan.
If you don’t have the “time” for Drama, then I suggest you send in a message to the producers to suit viewers needs. Anything’s better than that Indian/Pakistani Films. If your after the songs (which are not bad), go buy the CD.
Yeh !! SHOULD be spendin money on Pakistani Dramas.. like gettin all new kewl recordin stuff n shooting in diff. countries as they already are.. coz pakistani/indian movies jst rn't ne good.. n even indian drama's have got that lil movie touch in it.. unlike Pakistani dramas.. where we've got stories related to watever's actually goin on these days..

well i think pakistani films have to go long way to come anywhere near the indian films
pakistani actreses dances always appear so cheap thier dance movements are so masculine
the songs are ok but the female singers voice appears to come right from the nostrils
the compositions are not good thought some new ones are good.
and one thing i fail to understand there are some beautifull females working in ptv dramas and some hostess and anchors are also cute why is the pakistani heroine so sleazee and cheap?
