I think it’s just deformed 
after watching the lots advertisement one thing is clear that the star list is quite good. Alone Moin Akhter, Anwar Maqsood, Shehzad Roy, Haroon, Faakhir, Shazia Manzoor, Suhail Ahmed are quite big of the names to be attending the show if not for the filmy stars. But since I don't live in Washington area and considering that's only where they're comming, I can't.
I might think about going if someone from lollywood give me a free vip pass.

I saw the advertisements too - Its the biggest joke ever - they're hell bent upon immitating bollywood.
They're not going to go anywhere unless they start carving an identity of their own. The independent film making industry is achieving that in Pakistan though. What I fail to understand is that we now have the Karafilm Fest in Karachi for independent films from all over the world. So why is the commercial film industry running off to America to have an Awards ceremony when they're not even watched at home, and when the independent film-makers are producing much better stuff right at home?

I have to agree, it's really stupid to hold a lollywoods award ceremony when the industry hasn't produce anything thats really worth mentioning.
AND they should change the name 'lollywood' to something more original, it's sounds so cheesy and stupid.

why don't we start calling it PFI (Pakistan Film Industry). Sounds more elegant and meaninful to me than lollywood. And whoever came up with name "Lollywood" needs be slapped across his/her face.
