Allow me to recapitulate:
1- It all started with big misconception on Walima.
2- The answer was given.
The answer included sex between husband and wife to occur within couple of days.
3- Someone said what if it does not happen or for whatever silly reason she refuses?
4- TLK brought statement based on hadith (s).
5- Someone brought another counter argument.
6- Demense brought hadith(s) based on which TLK made that statement.

7- Then two members brought something made up to counter the hadith or question on hadith. Hadith which never said what the arguments were ‘created’ on.

Like I have mentioned a long time ago: Marital rape is creation of stupid minds.

No one has ever suggested that even if a woman has valid reasons, man has the right to demand sex.

Now made up reasons like ‘emotionally drained’ have no value whatsoever.

On the other hand, men are not animals without love/or compassion for their wives. Only wanna be liberated women make these up in their minds.

All Muslim women are LIBERATED women, because Islam was on the fore front of securing rights for women (financial, property & marital). Does Bibi Khadija ring a bell?!?! She was a liberated, self employed entreprenuer (oh the horror!!!). That is why there is the mahavara “What’s mine is mine, but what’s YOURS is also mine!”. If I choose to share my earnings, inheiritance etc with my husband, good, but it’s MY choice. He has no say in MY decisions. And THAT has been given to by Allah SWT. If god forbid, something goes south, I have my haq mehr, and it’s MY choice, whether I want to forgo it or not. So right there, your pathetic, chauvanistics views are without merit.

Secondly, your cavemen like views on “marital rape” disgust me, because I have seen firsthand how “marital rape” works. My deceased mother (allah unko jannat naseeb karay) worked tirelessly with Texas Muslim Womens Foundation & Muslim Community Center for Health & Human Services, and believe me, there are many, many, many Muslims husbands who rape, yes, RAPE their wives. One of my mother’s pet projects that she was working on before she passed away was a domestic violence shelter in our city for Southeast Asian women (and men, because yes, men are victims of domestic violence as well). It’s not “women’s lib” or being a “feminazi”..it’s called COMPASSION, something you severly lack.
