lol: Bahu's and darling daughters - filmy situation

okay we have discussion here every single day on MIL, SIL, daughters… women of the house!

Let’s create a situation - Let’s leave out the MIL - for good so she is not blamed for anything. Sweet MIL. awwww…

I am just wondering how bahu’s always think that daughters are the darling ones in the family.. BUT Let’s change the situation here…

Let’s have ONLY one daughter and two bahu’s in the house.

  1. Now are the two bahu’s gonna gather up on the daughter of the family?

  2. Will the daughter try to be friendly with both YET have one favourite and back bite the other?

  3. Will any of them ever live in peace?

Please add your personal situations. Let the drama unfold. Oh and humor is welcome 100%.

Re: lol: Bahu's and darling daughters - filmy situation

No humor, this is serious discussion ..... life and death situation .... whats that song that girls sides sing a lot on mehndi waighara?

Tairee behen...mairee nand, wo tu hai galee ka gaaand....
uss ko phaika kareen gaay k hum tum jacha kareen gaaay...

Re: lol: Bahu’s and darling daughters - filmy situation

^ holy shizzle do they really sing that???

Re: lol: Bahu's and darling daughters - filmy situation

NNooooooooooooo they dont, the song is really versatile...you can put virtually any sort of wordings in it and it will work.

Here is some filmi dialogue for this filmi situation. It is based on the filmi dialog of the film, Deewar.

Setting: **An hour before noon in the kitchen. **Daughter and Bahu # 1 arguing over whether daal or chicken should be cooked. Each of them taking furtive glances around the counter to see where the knife is (in case it might be...ahem...needed).

*Daugther: *"Tum apne aap ko samajhti kya ho? Tumhari auqaad kya hai? Meri nazar main tumhari koi ahmiat nahin. Tumharay paas hai hi kya?"

Bahu #1: "Meray paas Bahu # 2 hai. Meray paas tumhara bhai hai...jo k mera shauhar hai. Meray paas yeh churi hai!!!! Tumharay paas kya hai?"
**
Daughter:** (Confidently says).........Meray..............paas..........*MAA *(MIL) hai!!!!!!!! (she runs off to tattle tale to MOMMY before Bahu 1 can even gather her wits to use the knife she's holding).

THE END! Game Over! LOL

Moral of the filmi story: It's hard to leave out the MIL. (especially if you want to win)

^lol RV

Decent6 --- it's funny how the wording goes ... I have witnessed this one occasion of both sides singing to each other....

I really had no idea what they were singing about until I really paid good attention to the words.

It was horrifying!!!!!! Later I learned that both sides girls were representing the bride's side and the grooms side - and they were literally bugging off each other with taunts that "take good care of our girl" "We don't like her MIL already" She is too mean, looks mean, and she has raised a cry baby who keeps going back to her" ..."he better grow up once our pyari dulhania step in to the home"... lol

The grooms side girls were singing that " the bride better be good in cooking, cleaning, and not expect to put her feet up and order around" lol " they were saying that the bride will be kicked out back to her mom's place if she does not do all that her MIL and hubby asks her do to"

Gosh - It seemed that they were fighting with taunts - aapas mai!!!!!!!!

It was stupid but hilarious cause it was one of their rasam to "break through" in the family and get to know each other....

Yes they used to (in dont know if they still do or not) but I have been to many mehndi’s etc in 80s, 90s and still have memory of those songs
