sometimes when I log into GS as Impulse, it takes me into some1 elses Nick. and when I check my PMs -their PMs come up! wots all that about? I think they can see mine as well if they log on. wot do i do?

That's a slightly strange problem. If you don't mind my querying, have you discussed this with the other Guppy whose account you sometimes sign in to accidentally? (Purpose would be just to see whether or not s/he is also able to do the same vis-a-vis your account).

it doesnt happen when I use my home computer...only happens at college (where some other ppl use gupshup too and I sometimes get into theirs). I reckon its when we dont sign out innit ?

:) You are most probably accurate, Impulse, that's probably the reason why. Not at home computers, but at university or other publically-accessible places, it is usually a safe idea to log out completely. That way you may have the peace of mind of knowing no one is accidentally logged in under your Nick.

Waisay Impulse, i might be wrong but i think it MIGHT be a good idea to also drop a PM to the Guppy/Guppies whose accounts you accidentally are able to sign into, to let them know that for security’s sake they should log-out of Gupshup from the public computers. That way, they’re made aware that their accounts are vulnerable if they don’t log out each time from the college-accessible computers.
