^ hey sorry i was in a rush that night.... i typed and left...
no one famous playing... just local talent..
- the Desi Boys (imran on keyboard and nadeem sang a few songs from his album)
- Amar (he wasnt allowed to sing too much as he has his own ghazals night coming up... but boy does he sing well!)
- Kavita (she sang churaliya hai tumne jo dil ko... like wow!!)
- and some other punjabi dude... i dont know his name and i dont knwo what he was singing.... for any of u who were at Stereo Nation... he was the guy who came on first and everyone thought was Taz..
overall.. the night was just cosy... about 50 people attended (barely that i think).. i felt sorry for them... but they're used to it... they never organise it properly... oh well..
hmmm... man sadzzz ur really into all the desi scene.. u always know whats happening where n when and whos coming n whos not,, they shud make u the president of the desi community in melb :p

i know the info cus the people organising it are family friends.. and the performers are people ive known since i was like 6 and have been doing paki concerts with them since like 11.. so when ur whole fam is kinda part of it... its hard to miss..
i was only doing my part of informing the young generation :p
