Its matter of freeing panjab from clinches of noon mafia.
There is no question about the huge population shift towards PTI.
Now the ones don't think too much... and their leader who go after power... PTI to show them noon is no more control things mafia style.
NA122 was a very good start. SC decision against noon wishes to hold election was a good start.
More these things happen to noon .. faster its going to lose its grip.
As a results those looking for power candidate would come to PTI...
That if PTI could keep its composure. Which they are working on.
Its a marathon battle.
Other wise PTI is going to keep finding its valid votes, torn, out side of polling stations.
Almost all parties become regional parties. That shows the mistrust of various factions of our society and increase in the polarization.
PPl of karachi and rural sindh dont trust others ( PML-N and PTI ) and keep voting MQM and PPP even their performace goes down.
PPL of punjab giving vote for the best electable ( based on successful grouping ) PPl of KPK riding the horse of PTI as their is no other choice ( PML- N is punjabi , PPP is sindhi , MQM is mohajir , ANP didnt work for their cause and they rejected them . further there is severe internal rift . IF ANP had some good leader who can play ethnicity card well I beleive soon we will see the same situation in KPK.
This is sad but this is the reality
True. Ethnic prejudice and narrow mindedness is our biggest curse. Also noted on BBC by Sir Christopher MacRae, ex-British High Commissioner to Pakistan, at the time of Musharraf's coup in 1999.
To be fair, people of Punjab HAVE voted for PPP and capable Sindhis such as ZAB and BB in the past
NS is dull but you just cannot see people of Sindh voting in large numbers for a Punjab-based party or a popular punjabi leader of another party however capable!
People of KPK it seems are the most broad-minded. They have elected PPP, ANP and MMA in the past and now PTI
i never consider PMLN a true national party. it is primarily Punjab focused but punjab leads to federal power. so their strategy is working.
.
Exactly! PML(N) had realized it long time back that it cant be a national party.. so it is very well willing and happy to confine itself to Punjab cuz they know thats where the power comes from.
If they keep majority in Punjab in 2018 as well, i doubt if anyone can stop them from coming again as rest will be all "jor tor"

PPL of Khi been giving votes to fatima jinnah , than JI for long. Similarly sindh gave vote to bhutto nt because he was a sindhi (as a mtter of fact whole country ) rather becasue they felt that he will bring a change..Later due to the various reasons whch have been discussed 1000 times , his party converted to a sindhi party. PPL of sindh feel that when PPP comes in pweor thye give jobs to many of the unemployeed ( though unskilled ppl ) in eduncation , PIA , steel mills etc... They dont have such expectation from punjabi PML - N. ( this picture of Punjabi PML-N is depicted by SS him self to gain popular punjab votes and they are very much successful in it ) Similarly ppl of karachi are very much confused about PTI. Many of the ppl in karachi turned from MQM to PTI but they see so many U-turns from IK as well as they see his not so logical approach towards KHITIIEs make them uneasay with PTI. They only see development in the time of Musharraf era hence they dont believe that any punjab based party gonaa give any share of resources to them...
KPK was looking for any alternate of ANP and they found this in PTI hence they are very successful there . I dont expect this to continue in my opionion ethnic bias is gonnna increase in pakistan rather than decrease. The reason is scarcity of resources. Now if any investment is done in one area ( even on merit ) ppl. of other area will take it as if they are being deprived of their share and others are getting thir project on their cost.
PPL in punjab will continue trusting on PML-N as they see them putting all money in their areas ( u can see the unrest in saraiki belt ) . further these SS and NS brothers are expert in Jor - tor so they will keep maintaining the electables in punjab with them.
PML-N emerged as largest party in **2013 Balochistan Elections, 2nd largest party in KPK 2013 ** and recently in 2015 Gilgit Baltistan Elections won with **2/3rd majority. **Lets wait for Azad Jammu Kashmir Elections in 2016, again PML-N will sweep.

PML-n has formed govts in sindh, so I am thinking that they did do well in urban and semi-urban places before to form an alliance. Pre-MQM, jamat had a big voting bank (might still do) which is national, but then MQM just wiped them out. I think that it is turning out to be the same with noon league and punjab. Even if PTI wins, then imran is still based in lahore even if he says that he has tribal roots; i don't know know how niazis ended up in the tribal areas but hey, weirder things happen.
