Lobster festival is in full swing here and I want to try to prepare some at home! Has anyone ever done so before, please share your tips, techniques and recipes (for the dipping sauces too)

Some of my favourite lobster dishes:
Lobster bisque
Classic lobster thermidor
Lobster ravioli (has to be fresh pasta, nothing pre-bought)
Lobster linguine
Warm lobster salad
Unfortunately, i’ve never cooked lobster myself.

I like lobster bisque
But lobster served the traditional way is over rated to me. For some reason, I just cannot appreciate it...even doused in butter.
Everytime I think of lobster I think of steak tartar which I tried for the first time along with lobster and now love it.

My family loves it in lemon butter sauce, grilled with clarified butter or lobster thermidor.

omg! I jealous!!!! Steam or boil the lobster...dip the meat in amixture of clarified butter, lemon juice and garlic YUMMMM!!!
Lobster is I think not halaal and not haraam, its that word that means its in the middle I think...becacuse its a bottom feeder.

Its generally not permissible in the Hanafi school of thought, but is permissible in the Shafi, Hanbali and Maliki schools of thought
