I know a sad incident related to load shedding.....
One US return guy was repairing some elecrtical appliance putting switch on as there was plenty of time left for resumption of power supply...
But his bad luck that on that day power supply was resumed way early and that poor fellow died on spot...he had just returned back from US few months ago...:(
