as soon as they privatize it (instead of having the gov't control electricity, have a private company do it) all problems will be solved
KESC is privatized but Karachi is still suffering from the loadshedding! Reason being govt still not paying its bill to KESC for putting up its power on the grid, so if KESC is not getting paid they are unable to produce sufficient power to meet the demands. Essentially govt has killed the benefits of privatization itself.
