Guys i seriously need some help ..
I want to redo my Living room … the furniture is chinoti style brown with offwhite seats … I want to give the living room brown blue contrast look …
have got a blue rug … and blue cushions …
should i paint one of the walls brown to give it a cosy , dark touch that will go well with blue ?
i have tried looking on the net , but cant find alot of pics .. anyone here share some pics with me please and give me some ideas …

With chinioti furniture i always think the lesser the better as the furniture itself is pretty heavy on the eye. what type of blue do you have? turqoise or dark blue. If its turqoise you can go with dark chocolate wall and beige curtains. If its dark blue may be you can have a warm neutral brown on all the walls rather than creating one wall as focal point and accessorize the walls with wooden framed pictures.

I think you should keep your walls a medium cozy brown you like, don't need a darker wall. And add blue accents with cushions, pictures in picture frames, and even a blue floral arrangement, you can mix these up with soft creams and it will look beautiful :)

What shade of blue CB and is the furniture bulky??

CB, Blue walls give a room more contemporary look and it will clash with your traditional wood furniture. Think more along the lines of warm golds and rich taupe colors. Or you can do Beige. Benjamin Moore has a wonderful color called Shaker beige and it complements wood furniture nicely. If you like to add color to your wall then do a stencel rather than one colored wall. Stenciling looks much more sopisticated and add a lot more character to the room. One colored wall is falling out of favor in interior design.

The rug I have is teal shaggy rug ... its a nice blue color and I have matching blue and brown cushions ... the curtains are beige colored ...
I had previously accesorized the place with color ... but gotten bored of it and now thinking of changing design plus i need to hide the two small fitted wooden cupboards that cover the electrics ... I thought if i paint the wall brown that wil sort of hide the cupboard doors too or they wont be as visible plus it will just add to the look
Please share some more pictures of the brown blue designs .. its really helpful looking at pics ...
I really like the idea of decorating the room with blue vases or flowersetting , it will go really well against the brown wall .. what say ..
now the question is what shade of brown will go well with a teal shaggy rug and chocolate colored furniture ?

They really look good. The brown and the blue contrast gives the best look. Purchasing the furniture suitable to the wall paintings adds more beauty to the home. Thanks for sharing the nice pics of the furniture.
