What does living your life to the fullest mean to you and do you believe in it at all?
Re: Living Life to the Fullest
Figuring out and using your potentials that could add value in your life and in the life of people that depend on you in some manner.
Re: Living Life to the Fullest
i believe in it, but i dont do it at all :(
I wish I could you know but for some reason I hold myself back!
Living your life to the fullest is making the most of all the opportunities presented to you in life
Re: Living Life to the Fullest
Although you can never fully prepare for an exam but there comes a point that you feel pretty confident about taking exam next day. I'll feel that I have lived life to fullest once I can sense that I am somewhat ready for "exam".

well said. but I dont think many people can ACTUALLY do it. Its a myth in my opinion. Sooner or later, our responsibilities and etc come in our way.

But that's the whole point you know....living your life to the fullest while doing all your responsibilities.

what is a myth Saby? I dont get it. How my responsibilities can stop me from figuring out my potential? In fact I think that if I can figure out my true potential, I can fulfill my responsibilities in a much better manner.

^ Well lets suppose you are a banker and you are earning handsomely for your family and yourself. but you cannot afford to be lets say a wrestler which you so badly wanted to be. Can you do that? doesnt it come under 'living your life to the fullest?'

That is why I said 'potentials that could add value in your life and in the life of people that depend on you'. There are potentials of your life that will not add any value, in fact take the value away from the life of your love ones. Those potentials do not come under 'living life to the fullest', in my opinion.
Re: Living Life to the Fullest
another concept to dissatisfy our human souls.

another concept to dissatisfy our human souls.
dissatisfy? why do you think so?
Re: Living Life to the Fullest
^we live in this illusion that we are either living life to the fullest, or live life continuously trying to do so. in trying to do so, we neglect a lot of other things and at the end still end up with regrets.we should do things that make us happy. there's no formula to living life.
Re: Living Life to the Fullest
I think what she is saying that this concept is another hype that no one can actually achieve.
Re: Living Life to the Fullest
hmmm...interesting analogy philosophy.
"we should do things that make us happy."
what if we don't have the potential or means to do those things which will make us happy?
