Well - I moved Back some 18 months ago - working here and I guess am on decent money .. But in the end it aint enough here as cost of living is on a constant rise every month .
Cost of living differs on your living style - for 3 to 4 people , your food and grocery may go upto 200 to 300 USD
Again property price , if by Posh you mean Defence , Clifton or other housing societies .. For a 500 yards house with new construction you would be looking for 300 to 400 K . As i said it depends on you .. Three could easily fit in a three bedrooms flat which may cost you like 100 to 150 K .
Car - for an average honda civic or Toyota car - I say 20 to 25 k
servants , if they are living at your place , you will be looking around 2500 US /per month .
on the top of that , other expenses such fuel , dining out , shopping may cost you around 2000 US per month , only fuel would cost you more than 1200 USD per month , if you dine out twice in a month , put some 200 USD in that account .
So dont even consider moving back to Pakistan , if you dont have enough for buying a property , a new car and on top a job which would get your atleast 2000 t0 3000 USD per month . If you get all these , then the world is your oyster ...
By theway the above estimate is for a upper middle class ( some sort of posh ) living , we still have middle class , working people here making less then 1000 USD per month and by the grace of Almighty they are living a very good life here .
