Close friends of ours are planning to relocate to Houston. Some questions they have:

  1. Schools, how is the public school system there?
  2. What are some of the best areas to live in?
  3. Is the desi community mostly educated or you get a mix of all types of folks?
  4. Is it a good place to raise your kids?
  5. Are there established masjids?

3- desi community is a mixture of good qualified ppl and less educated ppl.

4- its a good place to live in.

5- yes there are nice masjids there. :)

You might want to tell them about moving to Fort Bend county which has the best schools. Desi community is spread out in houston unlike other cities so no matter where you live there will be a masjid and resturants near but Sugar Land, Stafford are the best suburbs of houston.
