Living in a pind

Ok not so much of a pind 3 mins off the highway. Closer to my work.
20 mins from my best dudes live.

18 acre farmland…old house.. and 2 workshops.

what you say a go ?? or no go??

extremely cheap <---- thats why I could afford it.
morons always sell those properties AFTER enjoying summer.
I wonder how long drive way is going to be??? what would I need for snow removal.
I hope I don’t have to chop off the wood to keep house warm..
I am excited. :aisha:

Monk, not a good idea.

Re: Living in a pind

I say go for it. You can convert it the house (if in bad condition) into a chalet type and rent it out. GOOOO FOR IT.

Re: Living in a pind

aah the small town life... fascinating. Usually small town folks are so country, nice and polite, so I think you should plus sounds like a good solid investment.

Re: Living in a pind

I definitely would go for it monk but not live alone it would be kinda isolated.
its good if u have neighbours around

Re: Living in a pind

They sell such rural properties dirt cheap after summer for a reason. In winter and bad weather you will curse the moment you bought the property. Of course the concept of having a huge farmhouse and workshops IS appealing, but it's not practical for URBAN born and raised person. In winter most of your time will be spent on up keeping the property. IF you decide to HIRE helping hands then it will cost you a fortune. That 3 minutes drive to highway can easily become 2 hrs struggle to clean the private way during winter & snowfall (Most of such properties have their own private "road" leading to main roads). But at the end of the day it's your decision, IF you feel that the efforts are worth it then go for it.

Re: Living in a pind

If it was me, I would SO go for it.
