There were a couple of threads with a similar discussion. It all comes down to what kind of lifestyle you want to lead. So maybe be more descriptive on what sort of place you want to live in, what area, what car, etc.

Stoppit, I’m hoping that someone here may be familiar with the needs and expectations of foreign professionals and may be able to provide a ballpark figure for various expenses.

LC, if they are offering anything less than 1 lakh a month, say no.

TLK, I don’t have specific quotes yet, but have a feeling that the offer will be around 1 to 1.25 lakh per month.
