Just wanted to know weekly living cost in Canberra..
let me be very honest..Can one go to Australia with having One Semester Fee and with few $'s in Hand and work and study there at the same time without having any financial support from family..???
Looks a difficuilt to me..but i have heard that people go to australia with one semester fee and work there and get their semester fee frm that work?>??
any comments on it???

Is there any kind of limit of working i have heard 20 hours per week..but if you do more than..tat?? any risks?? /or seen any examples of people who are deported back to their home country???

you shouldn't go unless you have planned things ahead... whoever told you that you can get a semester's fees out of working is wrong ..... all you can get is ur living expenses... being an international student can be difficult if you don't have ur family to back you... The Pakistani government has started a qarz-e-hasna scheme recently.. get the details for that and see if you can appl for a loan... otherwise make sure tha you have some altyernative plan to bail you out of any emergency.
or alternatively try and get a scholarship..... you can also check if the australian government lends money to international students( the don't in the UK)......the cost of living is usually very high in these countries so check all your options.. also see if your university provides help to int students to get jobs and stuff.... plus loans.... even if you are going with one smeester's fee you won't start earning money straightaway as it takes some time to find a job so be prepared for all that.. wish you luck
