Shahreyar , by nothing more I meant is getting involved in any “extra-curricular” activities, but on a more serious note I learned something new today, I did not know that it was not permissible in Islam, I am just being the devils advocate but isnt it unfair to women who would like to study or go to a certain school which is far or pursue a career that takes them away from home? I read the link that was provided by Queen as well as the fatwas pasted and I understand the points but then again the SHAITAN is there to misguide Men as well, just my curious 2 cents :k:

Be careful, never rely on random stuff from the internet. Especially, about religion.

It is stupidity to except someone to believe in a piece of text that is surrounded by random ads from some website. Enough garbage is out there.

SK, apart from whether I believe in the quote I text or not, its not good to be that harsh. At least watch out what you are talking about. My quote included the famous hadith about traveling women alone and your words were not good enough to disagree with the quote. Of course, you can disagree… its just about the words I am talking about. I hope you understand.
