Why is our intelligence so stupid that on one side army launches operation in NWA and on other hand they want to destabilize a govt of their own phattu PM who supports the elements they are doing operations against. Are things really adding up for some one?

^^^ It is not fasad when someone fights against tormentors, to revenge or save themselves and lives of their close ones, what TUQ men are doing.
Fasadis are those who persecute, torment, abuse or kill innocent, weak, and unarmed men women and children ... what dogs of Nawaz in police uniform are doing. To fight dogs of Thug Nawaz, regardless of they wearing police uniform or not, is right of TUQ men ... as dogs of Thug Nawaz are cause of Fasad.
If one can fight and still do not fight those who are cause of Fitna and Fasad, do injustice and cause harm to unarmed innocent people is in itself un-Islamic.

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday, dismissing a petition against the blocking of roads by placing containers, questioned if it was a revolution to beat up police officials and snatch arms from them. The court also termed the government’s security measures a correct act.
The roads were blocked for the public’s security and that of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, who announced a Yaum-i-Shuhada on August 10, the court was told.
Dismissing the petitions, Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan observed that fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution were a priceless treasure of the citizens and in the absence of reasonable restrictions imposed by law, every citizen had the right to enjoy them to the maximum. Justice Khan also agreed with the Punjab Police that the followers of Dr Tahirul Qadri armed with clubs and ammunition and they could create a law and order situation.
The judge said the executive should not impose any condition which infringed upon the fundamental rights of citizens but if reasonable restrictions are imposed in accordance with the law then citizens should obey them in their personal interest as well as in the interest of the public at large.
Justice Khan further held, “National safety and security is prime in all respects.” He remarked that the matter of the law and order situation and the security of the lives and properties of citizens was a prime responsibility of the government and the government was the best judge to temporarily take measures to ensure that.
However, Justice Khan said, the precautions could be taken only where reasonable apprehensions of the occurrence of any illegal act existed.
The CCPO Lahore assured the court that the residents of Model Town would not be stopped from entering the area after proper identification. He said only heavy vehicles, like buses and trucks, were temporarily restricted from entering the area, whereas cars, motorcycles, bicycles and rickshaws were permitted to enter the area but were subject to identification, checking and verification.
He said these restrictions were purely temporary in nature and when the situation will improve, the restrictions will be removed.
Punjab Advocate General Hanif Khatana told the court that restrictions had been imposed by erecting barriers and placing containers at entrance and exit points of the area only to provide security and safety to residents.
He said Qadri’s followers were armed and government had reasonable apprehensions that a law and order situation will be created, especially when Qadri was inciting his followers against the government.
He said Dr Qadri advised his followers to beat up and to snatch arms from police officials. In these circumstances, the government had no option except to restrict the entrance of the followers of Dr Qadri from all over Pakistan, he added.
The AGP said people of the area (Model Town) were freely offering prayers in mosques, schools/institutions were open, the people in the market were doing business regularly without any hindrance. The purpose for erecting barriers and putting in place containers was only to check whether the entrants were carrying arms or ammunition with them.
He said the intention behind erecting the barriers on the exit and entrance points was to avoid any act of terrorism.
The judge observed that the petitioners failed to make out a case for any infringement of fundamental rights and even if for the sake of argument it was assumed that the personal or individual fundamental rights had been infringed, nevertheless the restrictions imposed were in the larger interest of the public.
Online adds: Meanwhile, a petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court for the early arrest of Tahirul Qadri. Petitioner Khurshid Alam has taken the plea that the PAT chairman is fomenting chaos and disorder in the country. If he is not arrested early then several lives can be lost, therefore, the court should issue orders for his early arrest, the petitioner prayed.

I personally am not interested by any of these marches (I consider them before time). The way the government is responding is over board as well. They are shooting themselves in their feet, end result PPP is looking far better than the current regime.

37 years ago NS and co did exactly the same agitation against legally elected government and invited Marshal Law and mardood Zia-ul-Haq to take over.
