Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
I hope that the army has not taken over. No official news, but a few indicators don’t sound good.
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
Of the village idiot.
No tabsara needed.
Oh dash it all, there is a need. Imran wanted to hit a six on the last ball when just a double would have worked. Maybe even a four, play it safe to the boundary. The man doesn’t know he is being played, whether it is the establishment, or it is Qadri (who I consider dangerous, I know he wants to take over the country). That is what he has brought along pepper sprays and dandays. Casual violence, if you will.
Getting back to Imran and PTI, both still have a way out. Even as I write this.
Engage the government the next opportunity that arises. Sure, they can stage a sit in in front of the parliament, get into a position of strength. But engage in dialog. If Nawaz Shareef does not resign, which he will not, then step down one gear. Kuch do kuch lo.
As for the wicket of Shahbaz Shareef, get that little fudger arrested and in jail.
Also get Rana Sanaullah thrown in jail. Both for the Model Town accident.
They will come out, but it will be a moral victory.
Ask the formation of a separate and totally independent committee that checks and verifies the rigged seats.
In weeks, not months. It’s not that hard. Have some PTI and PML-N officials on board, other parties too.
Present the evidence to the public. We know there has been rigging, let’s bring it out in open daylight.
With the full proof of the illegitimacy of the Punjab or Federal government at hand, demand full resignations.
Along with any necessary changes to the election commission and voting process.
If there are things above that the constitution does not allow, then Presidential orders and ordinances can do the trick.
No sane person can take Imran’s current demands serious, not when he asks for Nawaz to step down, and then we’ll talk. Nawaz will never step down, the stubborn person that he is. He did not resign when the army was asking him to back in 1999, he never will today. With solid and substantial proof he can be forced down. PML-N will have no moral ground.
As of right now, PTI has no moral ground.
Imran Khan is just playing with fire.
And with Satan right next to him in the form of Tahir Ul Qadri.
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
Whether coup or no, PTI fellas have started tweeting Pak fauj zindabad and Pak fauj ko salam. That so reminds me of 1999. I’m sure would hv been similar during 1977 or ayub khan coup ![]()
We just go in cycles, not ready to learn anywaz

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
My point is, live to fight another day, come out stronger.
Don’t create problems from which the state cannot bounce back from (God forbid) or something that sets us back another decade. Can’t expect much from Qadri, but Imran and PTI, I expect these sane decisions.
Having said that, as a final pressure building tactic, I don’t mind them staging a sit in in front of the parliament.
They have every right to, as citizens of the country. But that should be the end of that. Don’t try any adventures. PAT are welcome to try them if they want. But PTI, as a party would lose all legitimacy (for the near future, at least) if they storm the parliament or any other government building. What is undemocratic is undemocratic. And it’s not like conquering a building will change anything.
Unless army decides to move in.
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
Oh, you don’t want to hear.
I’ve been to their CEC (central executive committee) gatherings in Model Town. And let’s just say, they want to take over the country, create a situation. This has been their planning all along. I fear action from PAT, more than I fear any idiocy from PTI right now.
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
Yes sit-in is fine, storming absolutely not..
Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
The thing is that despite situation reaching the boiling point, they decided to waste all their time and energies in securing an allusive ‘deal’ with PTI in private. Ideally, the Prime Minister with overwhelming majority and vast political experience should have faced the situation from the front, he should’ve led from the front and offered proper proposals to the public as a guarantee for action against all PTI’s legit demands. This would’ve been more workable solution instead of forming meaningless committees upon committees, only to have handful of his ministers playing the role of his personal messengers, while he sat hidden behind the walls of Raiwind Palace.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
I guess I’m the only one for this long march and an overthrow of the government. I’d like to see Nawaz Sharif sent where he deserves to be sent. Hung in public, and sent to hell, and the criminals his government has supported should follow. Same should be done to PPP and MQM. All three parties have supported domestic terrorism, and all it’s done is lead to kidnappings, and ransoms, and money being funelled to either themselves or to the Taliban.
