Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

What did NS achieved when he entered the red zone

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

probably even he does not know.

But can your freaking comprehend the abyss our electoral system is in?
if no threat, Panjab being the biggest province, shareef would rule for ever!

Do you have any other way to come out of it???
please enlighten us and PTI

also if thug qadri did not act like attention sink, PTI would have achieved a lot.. a hell lot more.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

^^^ Do you think going to political suicide is way fix the system?

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Let’s hope Pakistan today decides its destiny forever and to get out of this misery and slavery. What we are seeing is unprecedented history unfolding in front of our eyes. Today you decide and let that decision be forever remembered by our generations and we can be proud of what we did, saw and participated in this history.

Let’s become immortal today.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

I do not think that Altaf Hussain statement is rightly understood or it is probably misquoted.

In Islam. There is precedent in history that muzakarat does not bring result all the time, especially when one is dealing with liars and thugs who are murderers too.

Let me give you religious perspective.

Read about negotiation during war (Siffin) between Hazrat ALi (RA) and Amir Muawiya … that though stopped the war temporary, but negotiation was just a ploy, and gave worse result … at least for Ali (RA).

Treaty of Hudaybia: It was no-war pack for 10 years. It also included action of allies. Allies of Quraish attacked Allies of Medina, and taking that as excuse, Prophet (SAW) ended the treaty agreement. Abu-Sufiyan (at the time head of Mecca) tried everything to negotiate, but Prophet (SAW) did not agreed on negotiation and attacked Mecca, resulting in Fateh-e-Mecca.

Another instance: In 1971 Pakistan was fighting a loosing battle. Poland proposed a resolution in UN that ceasefire happens followed by political settlement of the problem (where probably idea was that Mujeeb would become Prime Minister of Pakistan). Bhutto refused the negotiating resolution on ground that Pakistan would fight for 1000 years, and thus war continued … days later, Pakistan surrendered.

So … we can see that negotiating may or may not be right solution to problems, but in history it is not always the case that negotiation is used to solve problems.

Another event: Event of ‘Trojan horse’ is famous in history that happened during Trojan war. Greeks were trying to capture city of Troy and was finding it impossible to enter the city. So, they offered negotiation with friendship gesture by sending a huge wooden horse as present to city of Troy. But in the name of negotiation and gesture of friendship deceived Troy, as inside that wooden horse they had their men hiding, who once inside the city, opened the gate resulting in capture and destruction of Troy.

Chengaiz Khan (Spiritual brother of Gullu Shareef): Many small states foolishly relied on negotiation with Chengaiz Khan. These states tried to save themselves from onslaught of Chengaiz Khan, by negotiating their surrender, but after their surrender Changais Khan used to kill them all.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

sure i can tell you what needs to be done

Imran was dead right for demanding electoral reforms and when govt crumbled under pressure and agreed to all of his demands (recount in 10 constituencies, form a judicial commission to investigate rigging, form a committee for electorate reforms) he should have declared the victory right there and told the govt “insan kay bachay ban jao and implement these reforms or otherwise you know i have street power and i will march into islamabad”…the govt was under so much pressure at that point.

but imran went for another path…he asked for PM to resign..civil disobedience, red zone blah blah and now no one is talking about the electoral reforms…he wants PM to resign but if PM resigns, per constitution of Pakistan the caretaker interim govt will be set up by PM and opposition leader and if that happens, imran will not accept next elections either because there are no electoral reforms…

guess what imran himself refused to negotiate electoral reforms..he wanted PM to resign…do you see what imran has done to himself and to electoral reforms?

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Imran Khan clearly said the embassies will not be touched but Ch Wig Nisar continues his rant about attacks on embassies to malign PTI.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

@Monk Self hating? What makes you say that?
@firenze why did you moved back. NYC was too cold for you? I told you not to (did not).

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

He also said he would not cross red zone. Hard to believe him now.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Like I said I have no idea. Neither I could predict future.

all I know is, shareef have penetrated up to CJ, whole panjab machinery is their hand.
They executed election even most smart and zeerak journalists , did not have clue.
It took them 6 months or more.

Its was us people, from first day after election we posted here on GS saying election results do not make sense.

We dont know how, but we want that to be fixed.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Just wondering wut would they do after crossing redzone. Will they sit in front of parliament houses or will they invade the govt buildings in there? Wut if NS still dont resign?

I think govt should let them do wutever they want. Any khoon kharaba will go in IK’s favor.

Wutever happens in the end, I can clearly see that country will be one to loose. Politicians will win again.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

I read his stuff some time, and see comments by people.
Its pretty obvious he has assumed a role. and its hit with certain people.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Monk i am trying to make a very important point…

imran asked for electroal reforms but when he was given a chance imran went for another path…he asked for PM to resign..civil disobedience, red zone blah blah and now no one is talking about the electoral reforms…

please listen to this…he wants PM to resign but if PM resigns, per constitution of Pakistan the caretaker interim govt will be set up by PM and opposition leader (president cannot do that) and if that happens, imran will not accept next elections either because there are no electoral reforms and Imran will not like interim govt set up by PM and opposition leader by PPP…

guess what imran himself refused to negotiate electoral reforms..he wanted PM to resign…do you see what imran has done to himself and to electoral reforms?
