باباکوڈا کی پچھلی پوسٹ میں کہا گیا تھا کہ پاکستانی لیڈرز اپنے جلسوں میں ناچ گانوں پر توجہ دے رھے ہیں اور قوم کو وژن اور پالیسی نہیں دے رھے۔ تحریک انصاف کے ایک نسبتاً سلجھے ہوئے سپورٹر نے کومنٹ کرکے شکایت کی کہ میں انصاف ڈاٹ پی کے پر جا کر تحریک انصاف کی پالیسیاں پڑھے بغیر ہی الزام لگا رھا ھوں۔ بات میں وزن تھا، چنانچہ میں نے کچھ ریسرچ کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا۔
سب سے پہلے میں برطانوی سیاسی جماعت لیبرپارٹی ****کی ویب سائٹ پر گیا۔ ویب سائٹ پر ایسا کوئی تاثر نہیں ملتا کہ اس کا سربراہ کوئی فرشتہ ھے جسے پوجنا عوام پر فرض ھے۔ ویب سائٹ پر جو ٹاپک سب سے پہلے نظر آتا ھے وہ ھے “ایشوز” - اگر آپ ایشوز پر کلک کریں تو آپ کو 19 ایشوز کے لنکس ملیں گے۔ یہ ایشوز پورے برطانوی نظام کا احاطہ کرتے ہیں جن میں انرجی، روزگار، ہاؤسنگ، معیشت، صحت، ایجوکیشن، پولیس، یوتھ، ہاؤسنگ، ٹیکس، امیگریشن، الغرض ہر چیز کا احاطہ کیا گیا ھے۔
کسی ایک ایشو پر کلک کریں تو آپ کو لیبر پارٹی کا وژن ملتا ھے کہ وہ اس ایشو کو کیسے دیکھتے ہیں اور فیوچر میں کیا تبدیلی لے کر آئیں گے۔ پھر آگے جاکر وہ بتاتے ہیں کہ وہ “کیسے” یہ تبدیلی لائیں گے اور کس طرح معاشرے کو اس کے ثمرات ملیں گے۔
لیبرپارٹی کی ویب سائٹ کے بعد میں تحریک انصاف کی ویب سائٹ پر گیا۔ وہاں آپ کو خان صاحب کے جلسوں، دھرنوں اور جلوسوں کی تاریخیں ملتی ہیں، ان جلسوں کی ویڈیو کلپس ملتی ہیں اور ساتھ میں ٹوئیٹر کے پیغامات۔
اوپر سائیڈ پر “پالیسیز” کا کلک ضرور موجود ھے جس پر کلک کریں تو آپ کو 7 ٹاپک ملتے ہیں جن میں تعلیم، ایجوکیشن، صحت، معیشت وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔ سب سے پہلا ٹاپک تعلیم تھا، اس پر میں نے کلک کیا تو میرے سامنے ایک لائن کی سٹیٹمنٹ آگئی کہ امیر اور غریب کا بچہ ایک ہی سلیبس پڑھے گا۔
اس لائن کے نیچے جہانگیر ترین کی تقریر کا ویڈیو لنک تھا، اس کے نیچے جیو اور وقت نیوز کے ایک ٹاک شو کے وڈیو لنکس تھے اور سب سے نیچے لکھا تھا “عمران خان کا مختصر وڈیو کلپ” اور ساتھ میں لکھا تھا “کمنگ سون” یعنی جلد آنے والا ھے!!!
یہی وہ فرق ھے باھر کے وژنری لیڈروں میں اور ہمارے لیڈروں میں۔ یہ لوگ جلسوں، دھرنوں اور دوسری فضولیات تو اپنی ویب سائٹ پر دے دیتے ہیں، تقاریر میں قوم کا وقت ضائع کردیتے ہیں لیکن جہاں کام کی بات کرنا ھو، وہاں کہہ دیتے ہیں “کمنگ سون”۔
یہ لوگ ناچ گانے نہ کریں تو اور کیا کریں۔ ان کے پاس کچھ اور ہے ہی نہیں قوم کو دینے کو۔ بقلم خود باباکوڈا**

I have to say this, Immy Uncle has come a long way since last few years. Not too long ago we saw him giving speeches on the road side with very few people and traffic passing by. People surrounding him were mr nobodies and used to push him around even during his speeches.
Now he can bring an entire city and country at stand still with hundreds of thousands of people attending his jalsa which becomes national headlines for months.
Taking in Javed Hashmi and SMQ was a smart choice, their support gave him a launching pad from where he has attained a critical mass and now dont need them any more. Dont know about IK but SMQ and JH have committed political suicides, they cannot go to other parties anymore now and will have to be under IK all their lives or live in oblivion like JH.
IK has struggled a lot to come to this stage, had he done this a decade ago then his party would have easily completed one term at least.
Provided that BB was still assassinated, had BB been alive IK wouldnt have gotten so much attention. She was a real tough lady.
In a reply to Asif Zardari on asking where PTI is getting so much money for Jalsa’s Imran Khan said: “Asif Zardari, the amount you have spend on a single Jalsa is enough for PTI to hold Jalsa for 3 Years! In PTI its the Junoon that brings people out, not money!”

The thing I appreciate the most about current day PTI is that how popular Imran has become with children. He has popularised a new kind of patriotism in amongst children. There are hundreds of pictures of children standing with Imran in Azadi March and children dressed in PTI colours supporting their message. It is not at all surprising at all considering a lot of families go to these dharnas, and since Imran has brought his movement to people’s drawing rooms and living rooms, children naturally pick up on political activism and passion of their parents and start relating it to it. I’ve met so many of young children under eight who seem to be quite happy little supporters of Imran Khan. I just feel a bit iffy posting children’s pictures on websites (especially here for some odd reasons), otherwise some of those images of children campaigning for Imran Khan are extraordinary.
Celebrating Minorities Day which raised invaluable awareness amongst the Youth and the traditional educated and middle class vote of bank, and allowed them an opportunity to express that this is exactly the kind of tolerance, diversity, and peaceful coexistence they need in Pakistan. It was an excellent initiative, I don’t think something of like this has ever happened in Pakistan on such scale. Not all is doom and gloom in Pakistan, in regards to minorities. It is disappointing the IK critics cannot be bothered to appreciate this.
PTI came up with an excellent initiative to raise public awareness and educate the Youth by arranging the Special Needs Day. I was delighted to see the positive response this campaign received on the social media. The humility, compassion and empathy by the young future of Pakistan was a reassuring.
Nice to see people with Special Needs feeling franchised and taking part in the political process of the country. They are citizens of Pakistan who deserve the the same rights as any other Pakistani:
