Oh please, can people just stop this ridiculous COAS argument. Really, tell me, what exactly the reluctant COAS would've done in case of NS once again cheating the system and backtracking on his 'promise'. Tell us what steps he would've taken to chase NS that would've looked oh so constitutional? What is the most he could've done, and how well it would've sat with status quo parties and and their blind supporters? Aren't you effectively asking military to take active role in country's political process? I guess its the status quo supporters who have taken a convenient U-Turn.
The same journalists who are morning about IK missing the so called golden opportunity (from crying about script), would've been the same sorry souls demanding his hanging from the lamp post for involving army chief into an independent Judicial process. No party would've accepted the results under army's supervision, all of them and including their blind supporters would've cried nonstop about some grand conspiracy, script, yahoodi saazish to harm the so called democracy in Pakistan. The status quo parties have already maligned the military enough.
People are simply shocked that Imran has managed to sustain this movement for 43 days. A record breaking achievement (quite literally so) considering his haters thought he would neither gather 100 people to support his cause nor his movement will last for more than couple of days.

Ok fine...... If Khan sahib thinks he can get PM resignation this way, please go ahead. if there is one institution in Pakistan which still has the final word it is army and its COAS. It is unfortunate but it is a reality. Nawaz has tried to become a hero against COAS in the past (twice first kakar and then musharaaff)and he knew what happened to him
