Given he's fame and following amongst the elites, there's no reason for him to get involve in the political process considering how his political activism can hurt his client base, but he does. He's a rich guy and he doesn't have to talk about the rights of poor, corruption free society, education, health and justice, but he does. Credit goes to PTI for giving such people motivation to take interest in their country's affairs, and giving them a voice. This is called raising awareness. Wake the public up. PTI could not have asked for better brand ambassadors than Irfan Ahsan, Shehzad Roy, Miandad, Junaid Jamshed, Hamza Abbasi, Bilal Lashri, former Olympian Samiullah to represent its cause and spread the message. It's quick, fast and extremely effective campaigning. Likes of Abid Sher Ali or Hamza Shehbaz or Bilawal have no connection with average Pakistanis nor they they have any credibility or command any respect, but the these people do. So job well done for PTI.

So the more information comes out about how they are burning tax payer money like it grows on trees, the more it boils my blood.
All the $8000 per night suites, the private jets with an expense of a $1000 an hours, all the phajjay kay paaye and nihaariyon ki daigain that accompany them.
And all of this for what ? A speech that does not address the nations concerns boldly and that nobody pays any attention to ? And when Obama and his guru Modi refuse to give him time of the day and when US insists of insulting Pakistan with drone attacks while ganja is in the US ?
And what's the deal with the drone crap, they are still not satisfied with the opraishun in N. Waziristan ?
Can't they share the intel with Pak army when the army is already there ?

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has paid bills of his Lahore residence amid call for civil disobedience, Geo News reported.
Imran Khan paid three bills of his Zaman Park residence with a fine.
LESCO officials said the bills worth Rs16,267, Rs15,232 and Rs9,336 respectively have been paid. The copies of submitted bills have also been sent to LESCO.
It may be noted here that Imran Khan, in his address to the participants of sit-in in Islamabad, had announced civil disobedience across the country to exert pressure on the government.

This kind of hypocrisy is much better than those who claim to be law abiding and are involved in all illegal activities under the sun.
I actually like it that instead of all the gimmicks he played in his speeches, he is not in the list of defaulters ( unlike others for whom halal haram, lkkaR pathar everything is digestible).

Bankruptcies and defaults are common all over the world. If you don't run a business or have a bank loan you are unlikely to default & banks know this when they lend you money, but they still do it b/c they expect to make interest on it.

But the way loans are written off in Pakistan for political leaders and influential families is not the common phenomenon all over the world. People can call IK mental case, Pagal Khan or whatever, but he can't be called 'chor'.

I agree he is not chor, but has he ever ran a business? Most of the politicians (and army) in Pakistan also have multi million dollars business & employee 1000s of people, too. And many people around IK are ex Mushy ministers like Jehangir Tareen (who according to SBP) is a bank defaulter. If NS and others are chor how come Mr. Tareen is pak saaf? He expanded his sugar business by 10 times when he was Mushy's minster.

Well, that is also hypocrisy b/c he is saying all other parties are full of chors except PTI & that simply not true. How did these people become clean after joining PTI? Did IK walk them through a car wash? But I understand reality of politics & if IK was running politics of principles he would never win single seat.
