People who constantly declared Imran the biggest failure and biggest threat all their lives are suddenly admitting that they saw him as an agent of change or ray of hope. Either you were lying then or you are lying now! Get over it.

Chances are you'll come up with whole new different sob story after couple of months when he'd probably be campaigning for a completely different issue. Cynicism is a nasty addiction.

So much crying about Imran burning the bill, any thoughts on why there's a rise of 80% on electricity bill yet no noticeable reduction in energy theft?

Forget about slap on the wrist, if Imran was doing all this in 80s or 90s, chances are he would've been assassinated! Happy, now?

MQM has started their separate province debate once again, let's see how many people call them ghaddar this time around. There is just so much public awareness now, (thanks to military dictator for releasing the media genie), people are not stupid. They can differentiate between right and wrong, truth and propaganda. It's just not so easy anymore.

^^ To be fair with him, its hard to come up with something to say twice a day, every day for over a month. Whatever he could say he said it in first two days, after PTV office and Janjua attack the "dharna" has made no activities.

One cannot come up with enough material in speeches to keep people motivated and bring them to the venue. On top of that he is sitting in a container with minimum outside access so new ideas dont just come.

Ab thoda bhaut uper niche to chalta hai.

Its commendable that he is still speaking with josh.

You should spare Asad Umar and Bilal Musharraf, as none benefited from their father position. Bilal Musharraf is living a modest middle-class life in USA (just like many Pakistanis) on what he earns and did not even came to Pakistan once to take advantage of his dad position. Asad Umar is also self-made person. His father did not leave him anything.

As for Ijaz ul Haq, again I do not think he benefited from his dad other than zia-ul-haq illegitimate child Thug Nawaz helped him establish in Pakistani politics. Even today, I do not think he enjoys a rich life compared to corrupt rich in Pakistani politics.

Humayoon Akhtar may have benefited from his dad position and money, but still, compare to people like thug Nawaz and thug Zardari, he stands very small. Same can be said about Gohar Ayub, though I believe among names you mentioned, Gohar Ayub benefited most from his dad position.

On the other hand, many Pakistani politicians, bureaucrats and some military men may have made millions from haram-kee-kamayee .... but mega haram-khors like Nawaz, Shahbaz, BB and Zardari have league of their own. They are world known mega corrupts who made billions from haram-kee-kamayee (corruption).

In jaisay haram-khor sadyon may paidah hota hay ... jin ka tazkirah iblees (shaitan) bhie kartay huye ahtram karta hay ... aur Pakistan kee kiya baat hay kay yahan aik-saath 4 paidah ho gayea. :).

Wrong. They lived a modest life throughout. I know people who were neighbour of Bilal Musharraf before his dad Musharraf took over as President of Pakistan, and they are still his neighbour (no change other than what any employment in west can bring)

As for Asad Umar, his dad (Gen Umar) was deprived of his military position and Asad Umar lived very ordinary life, travelling on buses to Karachi university and started a modest job after MBA ... that also in foreign company where he progressed to become top notch of the company, earning literally billions of rupees.

Day? .... Nawaz could not make 1 minute speech without needing prompting of someone and written notes. :) He has no brain cell, and his head is filled with only Nihari, Payea and Haleem ... forgot, dahi-bahla too.

Imran condemning the attacks on Geo.

Phenomenal scenes from Karachi. Azadi rally (a big one!) from NIPA has left for Mizar e Quid.

Imran telling the youngsters that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it. He's telling the crowd that he was 8 when he dreamed of becoming a cricketer. He said 19 out of 20 doctors in Pakistan told him that there cannot be a cancer hospital in Pakistan. The one doctor that did say yes did so with a condition that if government couldn't make one, there is no way he'd be able make it.

Imran telling the youth to have a dream, and build the courage to chase that dream with all honesty and dedication.

Moan and groan about cult following all you want, tell me how many young feel won't feel inspired when an accomplished person stands in front of them, points at the them and says, chase your dreams because you have the power to achieve everything!

Most of first time young voters that supports him today probably never saw him play cricket. So he must be doing something right to have their support.
