You have right to peaceful protest and not to create anarchy, threaten the police or free criminals from police custody. The government has been too soft on these criminals. I would bring zero tolerance, and no nonsense approach to the job of police. If you fight the law the law will win. Crime will not pay.
han you know whtt my last reply to you bc I don't like replying to unjust ppl to you, wht anarchy you are talking about police constantly messing wth peaceful protestors when ppl react you start crying anarchy anarchy. when police becomes unjust you need to raise your voice, its state police for the ppl of Pakistan not Nawaz police he uses for his own benefits, gov trying their best to arrest workers or threaten them so tht they leave.

Does the right of peaceful assembly include being anywhere, anytime at any place, without permission and prior approval?
Does it include blocking public transport? Stealing water & electricity?

If people have been wrongly arrested then the courts will free them, it does not need mobs to free them.
Storming PTV, Parliament and President House was all part of the peaceful protests?
Carrying sticks, and gas masks is all part of peaceful protests?
Beating up police and TV crews is all part of peaceful protests?
Stopping kids from attending their schools for 1 month is also part of the peaceful protests?
Inciting violence and trying to intimidate police from doing their job is also part of peaceful protests?
Do a few thousand people have the right to hold Islamabad and the country hostage?
I wanted to respond to your post until i read this...
i mean why do we keep using such language.....in one post we have dogs, kuttay, bite, haddi, thugs
theek hai sir...aap jo keh reh hain, theek keh rahay hein and i agree to you unconditionally. Peace
Bhai ... I hope you know why they are called dogs? :)
Actually, dogs are very decent and loyal animal, more decent and loyal then Punjab police. Dogs are loyal to their paymaster (owner/employer) and pay master (employer) of Pakistani police is Pakistani people (state of Pakistan ... and not government of Pakistan).
That means, Police should behave as state employee, not employee of those who throw haddi (rushwat) to them.
Unfortunately, Punjab police are not loyal to their employer (state ... or people of Pakistan) but they are loyal to Thugs (Nawaz Shareef) in government. That is why they are called dogs who are loyal to haddi of Nawaz Shareef and not loyal to state (people) who gave them job, power and pay every month ... and being loyal to haddi thrown to them, they are obeying orders of Thug Nawaz and biting people who are their employer (state's citizen).

If they are thugs then the people should not have delegated their collective power to them and appointed them their representative. If you happen to be in a minority then in a democracy it is tough luck as you have to accept the majority view. If you try to impose your views on the majority by force then you fall in the same category as TTP.

If people have delegated thugs into power than I would have still called them thugs (as thugs are thugs), though I would have accepted that they are elected representative, and there would have been no problem.
Unfortunately. that is the problem ... they are not elected by majority, but rigged their way into parliament. Sara phada tou issi baat ka hay.
If they (PMLN and NS) were really elected and still when many know (or think) that they are there not because of votes but because of massive rigging, then these thugs would have called the shot by saying that to avoid all what is happening and suspicion on their getting elected, they would resign and would get re-elected again under honest EC that all accept and under the supervision of armed forces so that no rigging happens inside and outside the polling station as well as when votes are getting moved and at counting state ... as they would have been sure that people who elected them last time would elect them again ... especially when they got 15 million votes compared to 7 million votes for PTI ... plus thugs of PPP who are supporting them (PMLN) got 7 million votes and then other minor parties with another couple of million votes are with them too ... and there are many independent candidates with them who again got several million votes ...
So, what is the problem that they are shy of resigning and going for non-controversial re-election? ... and the answer is simple, that they know they massively rigged the election to be in parliament, else most of PMLN and PPP parliamentarians plus others who are hiding behind corrupt and shameful government formed by rigged election knows that if election was fair then they would have lost their deposits .. and if fair re-election happens then they would be no where near parliament.

I do not know ... but whatever their POV, if last election was massively rigged, then re-election should be there, all over Pakistan, including Karachi.
If MQM says (and many MQM supporters believe) that MQM wins election fair and square, then there should be no problem for MQM, but if they are also product of rigging, then they do not deserve to sit in parliament.
