Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Woh bhe cheeeti bandi hai

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

I know it’s so bloody ridiculous. She’s in US at the moment. That just shows how extremely corrupt and politicised that police is. Filing a case on a person who is not even in the country, yet no right to file FIR was given to families of over 100 victims for two months! This is the ‘system’ they want to protect.

And less said about the Junk Group the better. The go to ‘news’ portal for Nawaz Sharif fans. How can so called ‘educated’ fall for blatant propaganda. The channel and PTI are at open war with each other, Nawaz Sharif does their sifarish in the parliament, how silly of anyone to expect fair and credible reporting from them.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Whoever is quoting Geo or Junk group is for sure a Noora

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Imran Khan shd be arrested at this point…he is spreading violence and agitation in the capital by his speeches.

Maria Memon ‏@Maria_Memon](https://twitter.com/Maria_Memon) 10m Madness galore outside Geo Office in Islamabad–PTI really, really needs to look up the meaning of ‘Peaceful’ in a dictionary.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

You can do soft protest w/o getting deported LOL e.g.

1.change your wifi SSID to “GoNawazGo”
2. Write “Go Nawaz Go” on Dubai currency.
3. Drive with your headlights on in the day time

I am doing all of the above.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

I think, things are getting nasty day by day. Route to complete breakdown of law and order, and bloody revolution or civil war, follows certain patter.

All civil war happens in country where ‘government and state’ are considered one entity … what it is not … as state and government … riyast aur hukumat … they are two different entities. In such countries, State employees consider themselves as government employees and work as tool of government.

Anyhow, even then civil war and revolution do not happen, unless there is wide spread injustices and government using state employees to do atrocities and supress people. Even then, people need awareness, and that can materialise due to many factors.

In Karachi, MQM played a role in bringing awareness … but since last year TUQ (PAT) started playing a vital role in bringing awareness throughout Pakistan, and today IK (PTI) joined them along with PML and some smaller parties. After that … peaceful protest starts.

Initially, government uses state institution to supress people’s protest with light tear gas and police force. Protest of people increases.

Then government start using heavy hand on protesters and protesters reply back in same coin.

Then government, if they are idiots, take the situation to such level that someone from protesters die (normally this happens accidently, but in Pakistan this happened on 17[SUP]th[/SUP] June intentionally).

With Killing, all respect and trust on law enforcement agencies goes down the drain and people also take up arms (not heavy fire arms, but small arms … like danda, etc). In Pakistan it did not happened, as killing started at much earlier stage.

Anyhow, after that killing of 17[SUP]th[/SUP] June, PAT workers attacked police in Islamabad, but overall they were peaceful.

Now it seems, shelling on PTI and PAT workers few days ago, and 17[SUP]th[/SUP] June incident has taken away all respect and trust on police force from both parties. Both parties are openly threatening Gullus in Police force.

Today, after arrest of over 3000 PTI workers and supporters, PTI also taken course of defending themselves from police, and also attacked them in response to police atrocities and arrests.

Till now, danda and gulail is getting used by PAT and PTI workers … but it seems, as the conflict would accelerate, things could go worse, laws would become meaningless, inhibition of breaking laws would go, and people may take up fire arms (guns or whatever they can) against police. That would be start of bloody civil war. With millions of armed workers and supporters roaming streets, no government could stand any chance.

Army may not intervene, and even if they do, in such advance stage they would not be able to do anything. Most likely they might get dragged into siding with civilians or corrupt government, and it is obvious that most likely they would side with civilians.

Anyhow, it is also possible that before stage reaches such level, army might move in and take over the government, then punish people in government, police and judiciary involved to appease the masses … but even for that, time is passing quickly, as once people would pick up arms, even army would not be able to stop anything.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March

Islamabad is now the City that never sleeps!

Can’t believe people thought Isloo is so dead and boring, check out the town now, eh.

I know so many people who went to Lahore protest and couple of them made it to Islamabad. It’s wonderful to see the traditionally apolitical segment of the population suddenly so energised and engaged with politics of ideas.
