I was here during the elections time, and from what I can vividly remember is that PTI never had overwhelming majority or even large enough support on this website or elsewhere. But suddenly every Tom, Dick, Harry voted for Imran and supported him. I guess that proves the rigging did take place. :D
Too lazy to dig out some old debates to name and shame these wanna be turncoats.
It will be fair to say that most commenters on this website are overseas Pakistanis and didnt even vote for PTI in 2013 or vote at all. It will be unfair to say that PTI has lost support amongst the masses of those that voted.

It's the governments responsibility to establish its writ. Should they allow hooligans attack state institutions? Imran has been openly threatening them during the past two weeks.

Imran khan threatened to storm the Parliament House. He then asked his people to come prepared to face gullubutts of PMLN. He expressed satisfaction on the attacks on ptv. PTI members attacked metro bus terminals yesterday. Now he is saying that he didn't ask his workers to attack government installations. The way government has handled this issue is pathetic, but the way imran khan has responded has damaged his credibility. We will see now how many supporters he will retain after this fiasco is over. He wanted to topple the government, most of his own law makers have resigned. He wanted minus one, hashmi is fired. He wanted to highlight Nawaz partnership with the umpire, but he himself is looking at them for rescuing him. If he had waited Nawaz would have destroyed himself, but impatience and hunger for power has exposed him. Imran has achieved what PMLN could not achieve. Now PMLN does not have any obstacle in Punjab. Not good for us but what can be done. When imran comes to his senses he will realize the damage he has done to his party.
Have to agree with you on this...I have said it all along that IK's demands of electoral reforms and auditing of last election are justified but the method (dharna) is wrong. It was only a matter of time before the protesters turned violent.
This was a disaster waiting to happen.

“Imran Khan is a man of great integrity. No one can challenge his honesty and his clear intentions. He has an impeccable record and I fully support him in his endeavor to enlighten and change Pakistan," Miandad said.
He insisted that Imran's endeavors are aimed at changing the system and he remains to be a hope for the citizens of the country.
