Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
Here is one solution that can end this riots in one day. And its not too hard, Most of the guppies here can singlehandedly stop this.
If you are a Canadian guppy then just file a case against TUQ for inciting violence, causing deaths, trying to overthrow govt and supporting non democratic ways of toppling a govt and terrorism in foreign country.
He gets one summon from Canada and next flight TUQ will be back to the court with his heads down. No western govt wants their citizens supporting coups in foreign nations and leading masses to overthrow governments of friendly nations. TUQ wont even dare to break traffic laws in Canada, he gets a summon and he will be back to protect his new passport.
Why Canada govt doesnt do it suo motu is beyond me. It must be violation of his pledge before he got that blue passport. May be its in line with canadian national policy.
There i gave a million dollar advice to NS for free.
Yes apki he to advice le rha hai NS abhe tk

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
lo javed ch ko aab aqal gyayee hai…this poor PD is saying the exact same thing from day one
that Imran shd show flexibility in his stand. His main demands are met by PMLN. He shd declare victory and for the sake of country compromise on his stand that PM resign karo. He shd go to the supreme court commission backed and guaranteed by army (and anyother guarantee that imran wants) and then that commission can decide the rigging issues.
If commission declares that the rigging took place, nawaz has to leave and mid term elections will take place
Otherwise Imran zid will destroy everything…now if PTians say that nawaz bee zid kar raha hai to let me say that PMLN has compromised on 5 out of 6 terms…cant khan sahib show some flexibility for sake of the country?

dil dukhta hai when you read international analysis of Pakistan…laiakn dil par hath rakh kar batayein kay is this analysis wrong? isnt pak its own worst enemy?

Pakistan, Its Own Worst Enemy
http://graphics8.nytimes.com/adx/images/ADS/37/51/ad.375123/t-icon-56px.png This story is included with an NYT Opinion subscription.
Pakistan faces very big problems: a failing economy; a Taliban insurgency; and persistent tension with India, which has resulted again in exchanges of cross-border fire. The country’s leaders and citizens obviously need to join in common cause to put the country on a steadier course.
Alas, this is Pakistan. For the past two weeks, thousands of protesters in Islamabad have been demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. His critics have every right to express their views peacefully. But forcing his resignation is the last thing Pakistan needs.
It would further polarize society, weaken the fragile democratic institutions and strengthen a powerful military, which says it wants to be out of politics but has regularly staged coups and otherwise sought to control civilian governments for three decades.
Mr. Sharif came to office in a parliamentary election 15 months ago, the first peaceful, democratic transition of power between civilian leaders in the country’s history. It was a hopeful moment; some 60 percent of voters turned out, and most people seemed willing to accept his victory.
The current anti-Sharif anger is being stoked by two men. Imran Khan, a prominent cricketer turned politician, wants new elections. Muhammad Tahir-ul Qadri, a cleric of the Sufi Islam sect, is pushing for the creation of a unity government. The protesters have demanded electoral reforms and Mr. Sharif’s removal because of alleged corruption in the 2013 election. Some believe that the army, which has an uneasy history with Mr. Sharif, has had a hand in the crisis. Reports that Mr. Khan and Mr. Qadri are negotiating with the army chief of staff are unsettling.
Mr. Sharif’s brief tenure has been marked by sectarian tensions, power outages, insurgent-related violence and a failure to deliver on campaign promises of economic revival. He has also named cronies to high posts. But forcing him out now and in this way is not the answer. A smarter approach is to make democratic processes work through reforms to prevent electoral fraud and rampant cronyism. It will also require negotiation and compromise.
The United States, preoccupied with crises elsewhere, has shown little urgency in trying to calm the situation, even though Pakistan’s stability is crucial to regional order — especially as American troops withdraw from Afghanistan. It should be pressing Pakistan’s army, in particular, to reject any idea of staging a coup. Mr. Sharif should resolve to govern better while the military focuses on its primary concern, defeating the Taliban threat.

**i have a question..imran said javed and I have different paths from hereon…does it mean hahsmi has been kicked out? i dont think so…technically hashmi is still in the party. He won party elections.
That is how parties divide. it will become PTI-H.

Re: Live Updates of Azadi March
i want to bring this part of NYT to everyone attention…the fact that NYT is mentioning this in its editorial shows that the cross-border fire exchange with india is very serious
fail to understand why is India escalating military tension right now?
and why would Pakistan start this tension? our army is busy in waziristan operation. whole country is polarized and burning…we are already bleeding
when you are in tough times, you need support from your neighbors…not tension. India can just stay quiet on borders and it will be helpful. Pakistani awam will always remember that when Pak was in trouble, India tried to settle the score.
